I spent 10 years as a legal secretary with a major law firm. I had a great job; however, Monday through Friday - 8 to 5 - was seldom the case. I was finding that I was having to fit my family and friends around my job. I had other people telling me wonderful things about my children . . . things I’d missed! And I was suffering many, many health problems which were also having an affect on my family life. Finally, I came to the realization that my health problems were job-related.
